Iris Galerie
FAQ

Iris Galerie FAQ: all your questions about iris photography

  • At Iris Galerie, an iris photo is a work of art created from a macro photograph of the eye's iris, whose natural colours, nuances and contrasts are revealed by our photographic process. No modification is made: only the beauty already present in your iris is brought out.

  • Iris Galerie takes a macro photograph of your iris in a few seconds. The image is then enhanced to faithfully reveal the colours and finest details of your iris, before being crafted in Europe by our professional lab on the medium and finish of your choice.

    The three-step process:

    1. Photographing the iris (a few seconds)
    2. Revealing the colours, nuances and details of the iris (a few minutes)
    3. Creating your piece: professional print, jewelry, acrylic block, light box…
  • Unlike a classic photograph of the gaze or face, an Iris Galerie iris photo focuses exclusively on the iris through a specific macro photograph. The image is then prepared to naturally reveal details invisible to the naked eye, and printed as a genuine work of art on your print, jewelry, acrylic block, light box…

  • No, Iris Galerie never alters the real colour of your eyes. Our technology only reveals the colour, nuances and contrasts already present in your iris, with no retouching or artificial additions.

  • Iris Galerie transforms your iris photograph into unique works of art: photo prints, Alu Dibond or Acrylic mounted prints, Acrylic Blocks, Jewelry and Light Boxes. Each creation is made from the photo of your own iris, for a result that is both personal and artistic. Discover all our creations in-gallery or on our website.

  • The number of irises per creation varies depending on the medium chosen. On our art prints, acrylic blocks and jewelry, certain models allow up to 6 irises to be brought together on a single creation. We recommend visiting a gallery to discover all the possibilities with our Sales Advisors, who will guide you towards the creation best suited to your project.

  • Yes. Iris Galerie offers a collection of personalized jewelry created from the photograph of your iris, alone or combined with that of a loved one. Necklaces, bracelets and other pieces allow you to carry a unique and personal memory with you every day. Discover our collections in-gallery or on our website.

  • Your iris photograph is printed directly into a 2-centimetre-thick Acrylic Block. This premium finish creates a depth effect that reveals the full richness of colours and the fineness of detail in your iris. Elegant and freestanding, the Acrylic Block is easy to display without a frame, as a genuine decorative object.

  • Our creations are available from 10 to 150 cm wide, in square, rectangular, round or line formats. They come in several finishes: photo paper, Alu Dibond, Acrylic and Acrylic Block. All our creations are produced in Europe by our professional lab, guaranteeing impeccable print quality and finishes. Feel free to explore our website for more, and above all visit a gallery to be guided by our Sales Advisors.

  • Your iris photograph is printed on a backlit medium that diffuses a soft, even light. This finish enhances the colours, contrasts and finest details of your iris, creating a truly luminous decorative object.

  • The HD digital file is a high-definition version of your iris photograph, sent by email. It allows you to keep your creation in digital format and use it freely for personal purposes, including on your devices or to make your own prints.
